Az idei 2013-as CES-en Las Vegasban mutatták be az NVIDIA gyártói a saját kézi konzoljukat. Elég szép kis darab nem kicsit hasonlít az Xbox 360 konzol irányítójára. De gondolom nemcsak nekem tűnik majd fel, hiszen nem nagy a konzolok piaca. Elég sok mindenben hasonlít, gombok a két joykar a középső NVIDIA bekapcsoló gomb is kicsit hajaz a “nagy-testvér” kinézetére. A bejelentés szerint 5-10 óra játékot ígérnek egy feltöltéssel amit egy 38 watt órás lithium ionos akkuval. 24 órás azaz egész napos mozizás lehetőségét prognosztizálnak egy feltöltéssel. The Shield Portable (originally the NVIDIA Shield) is a handheld game console developed by Nvidia, released on July 31, 2013.[3]
Shield Portable runs on Android Lollipop 5.1, featuring a flip 130mm (5-inch) touchscreen display[4] with 1280×720 resolution.[5] The device is similar in shape to an Xbox 360 controller and similar in control setup to a DualShock controller, with two analog joysticks, a D-pad, and other buttons. It is the first device to use Nvidia’s Tegra 4 processor. It was originally called Shield or Nvidia Shield, but since the launch of the Shield Tablet, it is called the Shield Portable.[6] Due to being out of stock for many months, it is thought to be discontinued, but there has not yet been any official announcement from Nvidia.
